Tobias Ott - Fertigungsleiter

Tobias Ott - production manager

Name: Tobias Ott

Position: Production manager

With Ulmatec since: 2009

My way to Ulmatec:

I started as a production employee at Ulmatec in marginal employment in 2009. As Ulmatec grew, so did my work. In 2011, I became the first production employee in fixed employment. Over the years, the tasks increased and so did our production team. In the end, this brought me to my current position as production manager. My team is still growing.

What I like best about my job:

It is a great challenge to further develop and coordinate my department. Employee management plays a very special role for me here. Managing employees, assigning them and teaching them something is what I value most in my profession. Additionally, there is a great degree of freedom to contribute and realise myself at Ulmatec.

Nicole Nitsch - Marketing

Nicole Nitsch - Marketing

Name: Nicole Nitsch

Position: Marketing

With Ulmatec since: 2014

My way to Ulmatec:

I started my career at Ulmatec as an assistant in order processing in 2014. After a brief familiarisation phase, my tasks grew continually until I reached purchasing. After restructuring, I have been responsible for marketing since 2015. Among others, the processing and organisation of trade fair is part of my tasks now.

What I like about my job:

I like the creativity and diversity that is inherent to marketing. New ideas are heard and also put into practice. With great commitment and interest, one will receive growing responsibility and freedom.

Karsten Steinbrück - Obermonteur

Karsten Steinbrück - Head installer

Name: Karsten Steinbrück

Position: Obermonteur

With Ulmatec since: 2011

My way to Ulmatec:
I started out as an installer in Ulmatec in 2011. After some time on installation deployments, I was allowed to take over projects processing temporarily. Then I went back to installation deployments and have been on site at our customers' locations for Ulmatec around the world since.

What I like best about my job:

Implementing large projects for Ulmatec at the customer's site and taking them into operation is particularly interesting for me. I think that installation and direct contact with the customer is great fun. The work is very diverse and offers new challenges continually.
