The principle of push-pull ventilation collects the smoke via a piping system on one side of the hall deck and sucks it into the exhaust system. Here, the dust is filtered from the air sucked in. The cleaned air is blown in again via a piping system on the opposite side of the hall ceiling.
The cross-flow achieves both smoke collection and mixing of the air. The system of the cross-flow ventilation can be used on a hall width up to 25 m.
