The World No Tobacco Day takes place every year on May 31st. It was founded in 1993 by the WHO and partner organizations like the DKG (Deutsche Krebsgesellschaft).
In addition to cigarette smoke, there are many other types of smoke like welding smoke, which can not only be harmful to health, but even carcinogenic. Smoke arises in production processes such as welding, cutting or laser cutting of metal, plastic and other materials. The smoke must be safely captured and extracted to protect employees, the environment and production facilities, e.g. with our industrial smoke filters of the IRF series.
The particles are for example sucked through a capturing element, filtered and effectively separated. A carbon filter in the exhaust air module of our extraction system reliably prevents unpleasant odors. The cleaned air can be returned to the room and even energy costs through heat recovery can be saved.
